Grasby Consulting is has strengths in the fields of Section 94-c Permitting, Construction Management, and Municipal Law. Grasby Consulting has also worked closely in the fields of wind and solar energy for many years. The owner of this company has also worked on an award winning study and works closely with non-profits in the solar energy field.

Study

Shawn Grasby the owner of Grasby Consulting helped build and coordinate a study in Mount Morris, NY. The study looks at Agrivoltaics which is the concept of using land used for solar energy farms for multiple things. The study specifically looks at grazing animals and raising pollinators on solar sites.

Webinar

The owner of Grasby Consulting, Shawn Grasby, has worked closely with FUSES (Friends of United Solar Energy Supporters). This group is a non-profit that discovers communities and neighborhoods that are interested in solar and directs developers to them. They also host webinars to show the effects of solar energy and disprove falsehoods about it. Shawn Grasby has created and hosted four webinars for this non-profit.

Awards

The Mount Morris Agrivoltaics Report was recognized at the Agrivoltaics 2022 Conference in Piacenza, Italy. This conference was a three day affair were several people who worked on the report were asked to present on it.

Work study

Grasby Consulting has partnered with the Western New York PTECH Academy, a high school in the Byron-Bergen Central School District, and Genesee Community College. This partnership will provide students with real world enrichment opportunities in the solar electronic field. By the end of the program students will graduate with a high school diploma, along with an associates degree in Solar Electric Technician Studies.
